State Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) participated in the White House State Leadership Conference last week. The event brought together more than 50 Ohio lawmakers and other officials. Organized by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, the conference aimed to promote cooperation among federal, state, and local governments and offered a platform for discussion on common priorities and policies.

Rep. Click emphasized the importance of collaboration between different levels of government. “Solid relationships between the state and federal government are essential to good governance. The Trump Administration hit a home run with Ohio this week,” said Rep. Click. “Meaningful interaction and engagement set the tone for continuing the America First policies of the President right here in Ohio, the Heart of it All.”

During the conference, Rep. Click spoke with senior members of the Trump Administration, including Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
