There were 242 Hispanic students enrolled in Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village schools in the 2023-24 school year, a 7.6% increase from the 225 Hispanic students in the previous school year, according to the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

Data showed that Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village welcomed 1,952 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students made up 12.4% of the student body, making them the second most represented ethnicity in the district.

Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village roughly covers four schools within Sandusky County and has its main office in Clyde.

Among the four schools in Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village, Clyde High School and Clyde Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 64 students.

In 2022, Ohio saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. This marks an improvement for the state, especially compared to 2016, when the ratio reached its decade-high at 16.1 students per teacher.

Despite the apparent improvement, this positive trend is overshadowed by a general decline in public school enrollments, which was accelerated by the pandemic. This decline, aligned with the steady number of teachers in the state over the last 10 years, has led to low student-to-teacher ratios.
