On Exhibit in the Glass Display Cases, April 4th thru April 28th."I choose to do art to express myself in ways that words can’t often communicate. Art as an expression allows for my mind to run free and dig up ideas that would otherwise lay dormant in my head, collecting dust like an old grandma or something. This show is an amazing opportunity to showcase my ideas to a wider community of people. I was inspired by local peoples' appreciation for the native wildlife and greenery. With all plants do for the planet I’m hopeful this appreciation spreads beyond Athens into other small communities across the country." --Molly Betit, artistOur Meet the Artists event is Tuesday, April 11th at 6:00pm.
