FOIA Request to Erie County Regarding Vendor Payments from January 1, 2024 till September 26, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Vacationland Times have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to Erie County. The request was sent under the Ohio Open Records Law, §149.43 et seq., on September 26, 2024.
Our request is for a list of all payments made to vendors within the specified date range. The requested information includes the vendor name, transaction date, transaction description, and amount. This data will provide valuable insight into the county's financial dealings with various vendors during this period.
As a media organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to such records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
