Census Bureau: 77.7% of people in Sandusky County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 59,013 citizens living in Sandusky County in 2021, 77.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 45,864 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 22,688 were male, constituting 49.5%, and 23,176 were female, making up 50.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Sandusky County during 2021 was the same as the state average, which stands at 77.7%.
