Meet local author Luman C. Slade, a resident of The Plains, for an afternoon of literary enjoyment!
Slade has written and published five books for young readers, ranging from a picture book about cabin adventures, a trilogy of entertaining chapter books for older children, and historical fiction for teens. All the books are beautifully illustrated, and adult readers will enjoy them as well.
*Copies of the books will also be available for purchase and signing.
