Perry County District Library recently issued the following announcement.
During Part 1 of this 2-part series, participants will become acquainted with the principals of 3D modeling and design through the use of TinkerCAD. Participants will engage in a series of guided tutorials as we craft unique objects together. No prior experience is required.
Participants must register for Part 2 separately; during this second session we will include printing and painting creations using both 3-D printers and pens.
Please note: If you have more than one student in your family, please register each one individually for each session. Younger students (under the age of 12) must be accompanied by an adult when using 3D pens during Part 2 of this program series. Designs that are produced during Part 1 of this series will be 3D printed by library staff after Part 1 of the series and before Part 2. It may be necessary to alter the designs produced during Part 1 of the series to facilitate proper 3D printing; changes will be as limited as possible to preserve the original design.
