Perry County Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on February 19.
As many parents have already heard, there is a recall on Abbott products including Similac, Alimentum and EleCare.
For anyone needing some emergency formula, Perry County Family Practice (Dr. Hahus' office) currently has 2 cans of Similac Pro-Advance, 9 cans of Similac Pro-Sensitive, and 4 cans of Alimentum at the office that are all cross-checked and not in recall. Call the office at 812-843-3038 if you need a can.
